Project Overview
Hard Rock Casino Rockford brings gaming, restaurants, retail and live entertainment together in a 175,000-square-foot destination. Its mix of dining and performance spaces places a broad range of comfort and ventilation demands on the building.
The Challenge
Gaming areas, restaurants and entertainment spaces experience different occupancy patterns and internal heat loads. The HVAC application needed to accommodate those changing conditions while managing the energy required to condition outdoor air and maintain a comfortable guest environment.
Masters Solution
Masters supplied Daikin Rebel Applied and Daikin Rebel rooftop units to address the venue’s varied heating, cooling and air-distribution needs. The Daikin Rebel package included units with and without energy recovery wheels. Where included, the wheels recover energy from exhaust air to help precondition incoming outdoor air, reducing the conditioning load associated with ventilation. This combination connects the confirmed equipment package to guest comfort and efficient outdoor-air treatment across a diverse hospitality venue.
