Project Overview
Georgia-Pacific’s Green Bay Broadway expansion added a through-air-dried paper machine and converting capacity for Brawny paper towels and premium private-label products. The investment combines new manufacturing capacity with extensive production automation at an established mill campus.
The Challenge
New production equipment and supporting spaces increase the demands placed on a manufacturing facility’s infrastructure. HVAC application considerations include dependable air distribution, conditioning needs and serviceability, with efficient operation important to a facility built around sustained production.
Masters Solution
Masters supplied Daikin Vision semi-custom air handling units for the Broadway mill expansion. These units address building air handling and conditioning within the expanded manufacturing infrastructure. The semi-custom platform allows the air-handling arrangement to be matched to application requirements, connecting the equipment package to the facility’s comfort, ventilation and maintenance needs. The case study’s confirmed Masters scope is HVAC equipment; the mill’s production automation is a separate project feature.
