Project Overview
HARIBO’s Pleasant Prairie campus is the company’s first North American manufacturing location. HARIBO announced the start of gummi production in July 2023. Gilbane describes a 634,000-square-foot project on a 136-acre campus, combining multistory production areas with administration, warehousing and utility buildings.
The Challenge
Production areas, warehousing, offices and utility buildings bring different operating needs to one manufacturing campus. The HVAC application calls for dependable indoor conditions, coordinated air handling and cooling, and consideration of energy use across the spaces served.
Masters Solution
Masters supplied Haakon and Phoenix equipment, Daikin Skyline air handling units and Daikin air-cooled chillers for HARIBO’s Pleasant Prairie manufacturing campus. The package brings air handling and cooling equipment together for this food-manufacturing application. Mead & Hunt is the mechanical engineer, with J.F. Ahern serving as mechanical contractor.
