Project Overview
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals’ Verona campus combines laboratory and office space with in-house pharmaceutical manufacturing. Its LEED Silver-certified development brings research and production together while requiring different environmental conditions across laboratory, manufacturing and workplace areas.
The Challenge
Laboratory and pharmaceutical spaces place demands on outdoor-air conditioning, process cooling and humidity management. Recovering energy helps address the load associated with ventilation.
Masters Solution
Masters supplied Ingenia custom AHUs, Multistack heat recovery and process chillers, DriSteem humidifiers and an Aerofin coil run-around energy recovery system. The air handlers and humidifiers address air delivery and moisture requirements, while the chillers support process cooling and heat recovery. The Aerofin system adds recovery of energy from the airside application.
